Ray Jane

A historic terroir witness to a thousand-year-old family history

Winegrowers from father to son since 1288, Alain and Anne CONSTANT and, for a few years, the new generation represented by Julien and Vincent, perpetuate the work and endeavor to produce quality wines, typical of the Bandol appellation in which they register. The estate, made up of more than 1/3 of hundred-year-old vines, extends over 22 hectares staged in terraces of dry stones. In organic grapes, guaranteed without chemicals and without insecticides, it is cultivated in the purest tradition of plowing with a plow and digging by hand, in absolute respect for nature, then harvested by hand.

2011- Magnum Bandol rouge Ray Jane

Made predominantly from Mourvèdre, Bandol Rouge Ray-Jane 2011 reflects a warm, fully ripe vintage. The bouquet opens with notes of evolved black fruit, leather, sweet spices and garrigue. The palate is generous and harmonious, with beautifully integrated tannins and a long finish. A mature Bandol, ideal with slow-cooked meats or game.
